A concept to reimagine how people consume personalized news and stories on mobile devices.
Newzbox was an early experiment in designing a mobile-first news aggregation experience. It focused on creating a personalized “box” of curated articles, videos, and trending updates that could be consumed in quick bursts. The goal was to simplify discovery and build a habit-forming interface for everyday news consumption.
The project tested swipe-based interaction patterns, card-based layouts, and playful visual treatments long before these became common in mainstream apps. It later inspired ideas in my work on hyperlocal news distribution at NYOOOZ.
